At IJDR, maintaining high quality across many scientific fields is achieved through a clear three-step model.
We have built an international editorial and reviewer team of around 30 researchers and professors representing multiple disciplines and countries.
IJDR collaborates with academic institutions in Bulgaria and abroad, including South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (SWU) and the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). These partnerships allow us to draw upon a broad spectrum of academic expertise when a manuscript extends beyond the core specializations of our Editorial Board.
For highly specialized or emerging topics, we engage additional external experts through our wider international academic network.
All our editors and reviewers are volunteers who share a common mission – to ensure that every article in IJDR meets rigorous academic and ethical standards.
As an independent journal, IJDR sustains its operations through modest Article Processing Charges (APCs) of 35 USD. We are not funded by external institutions, allowing us to maintain editorial independence and focus solely on the quality and impact of the research we publish.

Unlike many journals, where potential conflicts may arise between the Editorial Board and the journal’s publisher, IJDR operates under a specific model: the Editorial Board itself serves as the publisher. Our independence guarantees that the journal remains a trusted platform for unbiased, high-quality research.
