The Editorial Team of the International Journal of Digital Research (IJDR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven London, FRSA, to the Journal’s Editorial Board.
Steven London is a distinguished academic writing specialist, educator, author, and researcher affiliated with the American University in Bulgaria. He currently serves as Senior Coordinator of the AUBG Writing Center, where he supports students and faculty in academic writing, research communication, and scholarly development.
An alumnus of AUBG (Class of 2019), Steven has remained actively engaged with the university community in a variety of academic and leadership roles. Throughout the years, he has served as an English instructor, writing mentor, and advocate for student publishing and academic excellence. He was also the founder of the university’s Writer’s Guild, a student organization dedicated to creative and scholarly writing.
Steven’s professional interests include academic writing, digital innovation in higher education, research communication, artificial intelligence in learning environments, and writing center development. In 2024, he represented AUBG at the European Writing Centers Association (EWCA) Conference at the University of Limerick, where he presented research on the role of digital technologies in enhancing writing center services and student support.
In addition to his academic activities, Steven is an accomplished writer and poet. In 2025, he received a Special First Prize in an international literary competition, further demonstrating his commitment to excellence in written communication and creative expression.
His expertise in academic writing, scholarly communication, and educational innovation will be a valuable addition to the International Journal of Digital Research as the journal continues to expand its international network and strengthen its commitment to research quality and academic integrity.
