Digital4Blagoevgrad 2026 and IJDR – Media Partnership Supporting Innovation and Digital Transformation
The International Journal of Digital Research (IJDR) proudly participated as an official media partner of Digital4Blagoevgrad 2026 – one of the leading regional forums dedicated to digital marketing, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.
The event took place in Blagoevgrad and gathered entrepreneurs, digital experts, institutional representatives, students, academics, and business leaders from across the country.
The forum featured lectures, discussions, and networking sessions focused on digital transformation, regional development, innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, education, artificial intelligence, and technological solutions for business and public administration.
Among the speakers and participants were the Mayor of Blagoevgrad Metodi Baykushev, representatives of local institutions, academics, entrepreneurs, and students from South-West University ‘Neofit Rilski’ and American University in Bulgaria.
A major theme of the forum was the role of education, partnerships, and digital skills in regional development. Discussions highlighted the importance of cooperation between universities, institutions, business organizations, and innovation communities in creating opportunities for young people and future professionals.
As an official media partner, IJDR supported the visibility and communication of the event. The journal’s promotional materials and branded banner were presented at the main stage alongside partner and sponsor organizations.
The partnership represents another step in IJDR’s efforts to build collaborations between academia, media, technology initiatives, and innovation-oriented organizations in Bulgaria and internationally.
Digital4Blagoevgrad is part of the larger Digital4Bulgaria network organized by IMG Connect and Internet Media Group. Future discussions include potential broader media partnership opportunities between IJDR and the Digital4 series of events across Bulgaria.
The 2026 edition of the forum also supported a public cause, with ticket proceeds dedicated to the construction of the “St. Mina” church in Blagoevgrad.
